Counselling in Brighton, Hove or Online.
Hi, I’m Blanka, and I founded Real Minds Therapy on a simple belief: healing happens in the space between two real minds. It requires something delightfully analog: real, living human presence.
My practice centres on the connection between two organic nervous systems. Real minds are imperfect, messy, non-linear, and deeply human. They carry protective patterns, raw vulnerabilities, and an incredible capacity for growth when met with safety rather than judgment.
Integrative Counselling from a BACP-Registered Therapist
As an integrative counsellor, I combine person-centred empathy, psychodynamic depth and practical tools, offering compassionate, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed therapy.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, processing trauma or CPTSD, rebuilding after addiction, or navigating adult ADHD and neurodivergence, my role is not to direct or fix you. Instead, we work together to explore what you are carrying, make sense of your internal world, and help you find your own way forward.
Sessions are available in person in Brighton and Hove, or online across the UK and beyond, with a free initial consultation so you can get a feel for whether it's the right fit before committing to anything further.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
— Carl Rogers
Anxiety, Trauma, Neurodivergence or Addiction Recovery
-

Anxiety, Self-Esteem & Relationships
Anxiety, self-doubt, relationships that ask more than they give: often, they're all tangled together. Together, we gently pull the threads apart, and look at them one at a time to make sense of your experience.
-

ADHD and Neurodiversity
Navigating life as a neurodivergent adult often brings exhaustion, masking, and persistent self-doubt. Counseling provides an affirming space to process these challenges, drop the mask, and integrate your neurodivergence into a confident sense of self.
-

Trauma and C-PTSD
When past experiences or relational wounds keep you feeling stuck, hypervigilant, or disconnected, moving forward can seem hazy. Trauma counselling helps you process painful memories safely, soothe your nervous system, and rebuild a secure sense of self.
-

Addiction Recovery
Recovery is rarely a straight line, and it doesn't have to be walked alone. As a Member of Addiction Professionals, I work with what sits underneath the substance or behaviour, not just the behaviour itself.

Beginning therapy could be easier than you think.
A short introductory call. Book a 15-minute no-pressure conversation to see if working together feels right.
Step 1
Assessment and goals. If we decide to move forward, we'll arrange our first full session to explore your history and what you hope to get out of our work.
Step 2
Weekly therapy space. We’ll meet weekly at a dedicated time to build a safe, consistent rhythm for reflection, processing, and meaningful change.

We start with a free, informal 15-minute video or phone call. It’s a low-pressure way to talk through what brings you to therapy, ask any questions, and see how it feels to talk together before committing.
-
